DeLay has really bought into the hard-right-wing hysteria, hasn't he? "The commie vote?" "The single most liberal person to have ever received the nomination?" Ever hear of George McGovern, Tom? FDR?
Extremist right-wing libertarians and anarchists would agree that McCain is the best candidate for their cause, wouldn't they? So is McCain an anarchist? |
|
about his ties to socialists/marxists for quite some time. There are verifiable incidents posted over at therealbarackobama.com as well as tons of other sites. WHY it is so late making it to TH bloggers is beyond me.
Also remember Obama wants and needs the early voting because he is fearful of that October surprise and of course once those lemmings have voted for him there's no taking the vote back.
Am I the only one who finds it coincidental that Obama has known his grandmother has been ill yet is just NOW planning a trip to visit her? Visiting her at the same time a lawsuit has been filed in Hawaii? |
|
|
I find it coincidental and curious. I appreciate his concern for her but at this stage of the election? Where's Michelle? Why can't she go and tend to his mother? |
|
|
Obama is way off to the left of McGovern. I doubt very much if libertarians and anarchists would think McCain is their candidate (do they seriously? I don't follow those wackos). But it would seem to me that there has become too much similarity between Obama and McCain for the libertarians and anarchists to really appreciate McCain. |
|
|
A clarification. When I mean wackos I mean the way out libertarians. I have some libertarian leanings myself but I realize that going too far down that road leads to anarchy. |

It should be

Now, do you think just ONE of the people who write at TH will check out that link and establish contact with him/her?

What does a lobbyist controlled McCain-Palin ticket mean for you? It means lobbyists come first. On jobs, health care, energy, America’s standing in the world — lobbyists pay big bucks to make sure their special interests come first. And time and time again, McCain has given lobbyists what they paid for.
On Jobs McCain’s top dog, campaign manager Rick Davis, helped pave the way for job losses in Ohio — putting the interests of his former lobbyist client, Deutsche Post World Net, above yours. Read More
On Energy Senior Campaign Advisor Charlie Black lobbied for Big Oil for eight years. McCain’s tax plan would save Big Oil $4 billion. Lucky coincidence? Or planned convenience? Read More
On Health Care Employed at the top of the McCain campaign are former lobbyists John Green and Wayne Berman who have put the interests of health insurance and pharmaceutical companies above yours. Read More http://mclobbyist.com/

"Obama is way off to the left of McGovern."
What differences between their policies are you basing that on? |
|
Pining for the good ole' days when you could steal from government coffers and nobody gave it a second look?
Are you sad that your good buddys Jack Abramhoff and Duke Cunningham are doing time and you don't have anybody to play with?
Did TH call you up and ask for 100 words why Obama is evil?
You are a true slime ball. Please go back to your whole Mr. Hammer.

Of all the major Democratic primary candidates, Obama had the most conservative health care proposal. If you want true progressive, far left loonies, try John Edwards or Dennis Kucinich, or vote for Ralph Nader in the general election. Even Hillary's health care proposal was to the left of Obama's. The notion that Obama is the most liberal anything is too ludicrous for words.
If a commie wants his vote to count, he could either vote for McCain, just to show how bad things can get under another right-wing presidency (something that might lead more quickly to violent overthrow in their warped minds), or (if a nicer person) for Obama, hoping that he will make somewhat of a difference in people's lives. But he won't truly be happy about his vote either way.
It's also possible (especially given the number of typos and misspells in the post, which is always for me an indication of right-wing loonies at work) that the post was a creation of somebody on the right who simply wanted to embarrass Senator Obama. And Tom DeLay and others have fallen for it. Ha. |
|
|
Hysteria isn't working as a campaign tactic, is it? So far, very few people have bought into McCain's and Palin's Chicken Little dire warnings. And of course Palin's nomination remains McCain's biggest boo-boo. (Except of course for the laughs she brings to some of us -- what a breath of fresh air in that respect!). |
|
Could we get a fund going to buy these poor Commies a word processing program that has a functioning spellchecker?
On the other hand, T.D. may be on to something – these people are sic, sic, sic. Sic.

Actually, Marx's "Capital" is simply an explanation of how money works in transforming the economy. Most capitalists would tell you that 98% of "Capital" is sound philosophy and sound argument. It's the conclusions Marx (with that rabble-rouser Engels) draws that make what we think of as Marxism today -- classical communism -- which most modern communists (like our American capitalists' friends the Chinese) have thrown aside long ago.
But all that's probably too nuanced for most of you. |
|
against Obama, and nobody, NObody spelled out why better than Colin Powell.
Frankly, using a criminal like DeLay to cast aspersions on anyone is quite offensive. This is a man who was proven to have politicized election rules for his own gain and broken the law - but still refuses accountability for his sins. Not only is he implicated with Abramoff, but the former bug man was indicted for wrong doing, and yet here he is, joined by other criminals like Karl Rove and Rush Limbaugh telling us to fear Obama and Democracy.
Not only that, but look at where out of control capitalism [fascism, if your standards should be followed] has gotten us under GOP rule. We are in a nightmare situation like we've not seen in nearly a century - thanks primarily to the unregulated, greedy policies of the Republican Party. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac account for very little in the blame -- but even still, the GOP was in control of Congress during the claim that Dems undermined regulation of the two. Why didn't they 'get 'er done" at that point with the majority? BECAUSE there were Rethugs who had friends who benefitted from special interests who did NOT want the legislation passed, that's why. |

One of the most telling differences between Obama and McGovern is Obama supports the Employee Free Choice Act. This is even too far left for McGovern to support. And I really think that his tax policiss are to the left of McGovern, this is my feeling, though. Of course the whole country has moved to the right so it really isn't saying much to say that Obama is left of McGovern. Hell, Bush is handing out cash to everyone ala McGovern! |
|
|
So, Marxist's conclusions were drastically, criminally, murderously wrong. No, I did not miss that nuance. |

All of you BarryBarrackHusseinObama koolaid drinkers need to get you heads out of that dark place you sit on! All you libs hear is what the pied pipers magical, mystical and dangerous euphony that will take you down the wrong path.

"One of the most telling differences between Obama and McGovern is Obama supports the Employee Free Choice Act. This is even too far left for McGovern to support."
That's McGovern now, at the age of 86. We're talking about candidate McGovern in 1972 at the age of 50. $32,000 (today's dollars) guaranteed minimum income for all Americans, 40% reduction in defense spending in his first term, abortion rights before Roe v. Wade, the ERA, etc. etc.
My mother, who was born within a few months and a few miles of George McGovern, has also changed her political views over the years. She has an Obama sticker on her SUV. |
|
|
You dems do this every 4 years. First it was Gore who you said couldnt be beat and HE WAS! then it was Kerry who had it in the bag and HE LOST! And now Barry will lose as well! If you believe the polls you have failed to learn from history the Democrat is always ahead in the polls and if he is not he gets crushed. Obama is toast youguys blew it when you overlooked Hillary. Rush was right Obama is 'unelectable'. |
|
|
Phillip Berg is still in court contesting Obama's qualifications to be president, namely the requirement that you have to be a natural born citizen. Obama has not provided the proof necessary. I know that Fact check attempts to debunk this BUT they are part of Annenberg and Obama has ties with them from his time on the woods foundation and his connection to Bill Ayers. If this was a frivilous lawsuit Bergs suit would have been thrown out already...but a month later it is still on the table and Obama has yet to provide proof of Live Birth in Hawaii the scanned doc on his and fact checks site is a forgery and has not been presented to the court in Delaware. Dems you need to start worrying this is looking very bad for BO. |
|
"You dems do this every 4 years. First it was Gore who you said couldnt be beat and HE WAS!"
Or you could say "first it was Clinton who you said couldn't be beat and HE COULDN'T!"
A good way to "learn from history" what you already believe is to be very selective about what history you look at. |
|
This is not the first time someone has made a big deal about something entered on a blog page at the Obama-Biden site. Who knows who entered it. Could actually be a splinter leftist coalition, or more likely a spelling-challenged wingnut, attempting to make Obama look bad.
In other case, who cares what Tom DeLay thinks about anything? This sleazeball is a discredit to the American political system. |
|
Geminigay writes, "All you libs hear is what the pied pipers magical, mystical and dangerous euphony that will take you down the wrong path."
Hey, I got a proposal for you.
First, clean up your grammar, Sarah. Do you call that a sentence?
Next, tell ya what: If you don't accuse liberals of walking in lockstep with their leaders and pundits, liberals won't accuse conservatives of doing the same. Accusing people of mindlessly parroting their sources (ever heard the term "dittohead"?) advances the discussion not one wit.
And instead of beating me over the head with your links, how about just summarizing them for us if you really want us to know what you're talking about? Take charge, man. |
|
|
Did he actually receive the vote for the nomination or did acorn put him there thru their criminal actions and his collaboration? |
|
..won.
McGovern "repented" of his silly notions as soon as he ran a business. To be sure, it was a tiny B&B, not as complex, as risk-filled, as heavily taxed and as government regulated as the businesses most of us run, but....
...it was a huge eye-opener.
We hire government to "secure the blessings of Liberty (not affordable houseing and healthcare) to ourselves and our posterity."
For the sake of her posterity, your mother needs to rethink her decision. |
|
|
Great stuff Tom, keep it coming...... |
|
"W/O Perot Clinton Would Not Have won."
No one actually thinks that, and the polls showed that it wasn't true. Bush would have gotten a few more EC votes, but would still have lost.
"McGovern "repented" of his silly notions as soon as he ran a business."
So what? DeLay claimed that Obama was the most liberal Democratic presidential candidate, and clearly McGovern was substantially more liberal than Obama when he was nominated. It doesn't matter what he became latter. |

Bill Ayers is a carefully chosen friend of Barrack Obama. Born in 1944, Currently a professor of education at the University of Illinois. 1) Leader of the 1960s and 70s domestic terrorist group Weatherman. The Weatherman issued a 'Manifesto', calling for armed opposition to US policies, includig Capitalism and asked white radicals to launch a 'Race War' against 'White Skin Privilege'. Leaders like Mark Rudd (currently a mathematics professor at a New Mexico community college) traveled illegally to Cuba in 1968 for terroist training by Soviet KGB Colonel Vadim Kotchergine, who taught Marxist philosophy and urban warfare. Weather men always spelled America - 'AmeriKKKa'.
2) "Kill all the rich people. ... Bring the revolution home. Kill your parents." Bill Ayers
3) Participated in the bombings of New York City Police Headquarters in 1970, of the Capitol building in 1971, and the Pentagon in 1972. Ayers proudly stated that he didn’t "regret setting the bombs. I feel we didn’t do enough."
"America is NOT a just and fair and decent place - it makes me want to puke." Ayers said in 2001
In the mid-1990s, Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn hosted meetings at their Chicago home to introduce Barack Obama to their neighbors during Barack Obama's first run for the Illinois Senate.
In 1999 Ayers joined the Woods Fund of Chicago, where he served as a director alongside Barack Obama until the Obama left the Woods board in December 2002.
Review of Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC) documents shows that Ayers and Obama each chaired the two CAC operating bodies from 1995 to 2000. Michelle Obama started working at a law firm with Bernadette Dohrn, Ayers wife, in 1985.

There is an old Spanish saying. “Tell me who you walk with, and I will tell you WHO YOU ARE!”
"I chose my friends carefully." Barack Obama, Dreams of My Father
Did Barack Obama chose the choose the bloggers on his Campaign Website carefully?
Michael Klonsky (born 1943) is an American educator and political activist, a leader of the New Communist Movement.
Michael Klonsky, whose disgust for mainstream politics led him to launch a new, Maoist Communist Party in the 1970s, today supports Barack Obama so enthusiastically that until recently he was blogging on the Illinois senator’s Official campaign website.
“My own support for Obama is not a reflection of a radically changed attitude toward the Democratic Party, rather, it’s a recognition that the Obama campaign has become a rallying point for young activists and offers hope for rebuilding the civil rights and antiwar coalitions that have potential to become a real critical force in society.” Michael Klonsky.
Michael Klonsky is the former leader of SDS - Students for a Democratic Society.
Can every 'Radical' and 'Communist' in America be wrong about Barack Obama. |
|
|
is so cute with his cries of "Commie! Commie! Commie!" It's like a 50's retrospective; you expect to see pictures of Eisenhower swinging a golf club and Nixon scowling through his 5 o'clock shadow. |
|
|
about "bought into the hard-right-wing hysteria," same can be said about the left wing race baiting. Or how about the hate mongering of Sarah Palin yet Biden has diarea of the mouth and spews constent outright lies yet gets a pass? sorry, but the playing field is not level |
|
"Bob Munck's comment about "bought into the hard-right-wing hysteria," same can be said about the left wing race baiting."
DeLay has bought into the left wing race baiting? Wow, he's really a loon.
"Or how about the hate mongering of Sarah Palin"
It's disgusting, and someone needs to rein her in. On the other hand, she's costing her side votes by the tens of thousands, so Let Sarah Be Sarah! |
|
some people can not be rationalized with, but I was mistaken. Joe is a senator for 30+ years but during a VP debate absolutly blows a question on 8th grade knowledge of what the VP's role is in the white house and congress? He also had no less than 9 other outright lies/untruths and 6 additional debatable factual errors. I will just let you live in your world of wonderment.
Also, the comments about Clinton/Bush/Perot election I believe Perot was a factor. Granted there was the contra issues that Bush was implicated in right before the election as well that hurt him bad. You take away Perot I believe most of the votes would have gone to Bush. |
|
|
Nope, I have been thinking the same thing, why wasn't he there when it first happened. Didn't know about the lawsuit though which makes it verrrry interrrrrestink! |
|
I did know there was a lawsuit but didn't know it has been in Hawaii. You know the Drivebys are so balanced, I must have missed it when reported.
Was Barack Hussein Obama supeoned to testify in court? or to get some useful idiot community activists..you know the ones that are vandalizing cars with bumper stickers for McC/Palin, or against obama; or stealing yard signs..to put the fear of god into the plaintiff?
Tom DeLay has been put on ice by a corrupt DEMONRAT prosecutor abusin his power..but don't let the truth get in your way, continue being Obama's useful paid idiots. |
|
"You take away Perot I believe most of the votes would have gone to Bush."
Feel free to believe whatever you like. The actual facts -- polls, surveys, etc. -- show that Perot did not change the outcome of the election. |
|
William Clinton Albert Gore Jr. Democratic 44,909,806 43.01% George Bush J. Danforth Quayle Republican 39,104,550 37.45% H. Ross Perot James Stockdale Independent 19,743,821 18.91%
Clinton beat Bush by about 5million votes. There where 20 million votes for perot. TN would have gone to Bush I believe, Georgia would have gone to Bush as well if not for the split vote between GB and RP. Long story short, believe what you want to believe but the simple fact Perot recieved such a large portion of the vote in a re-election year says that people where not 100% sold on either candidate but IMO Bush would have won the election if Perot did not run because Perot's base would have sided with the conservatives |
|
|
|
"TN would have gone to Bush I believe, Georgia would have gone to Bush as well if not for the split vote between GB and RP."
Tennessee has 11 electoral votes; Georgia has 15. Clinton won by 184. You'll have to scare up quite a few more states.
As I said before, twice, polls and surveys showed that Perot took votes equally from Clinton and Bush. But feel free to believe your own fantasies. |
|
Mein Gott in Himmel! Some of you wingnuts are absolutely pathetic. Here you are all handwringing over Obama getting some support from a couple thousand pinkos . . . and you're shaking in your boots (how's my spelling so far, Right Makes Might?)?
You think this issue resonates with the general public when your heroes have done more to advance socialism than anybody on the left? Give me a freakin' break!
I'm a Marxist . . . Marxist-Leninist to be precise. I can tell you Obama is no Marxist; not even a Socialist. Some of y'all are absolute uneducated nincompoops when it comes to political economy. You're a bunch of jive-arse, sissy-punk cowards. Quivering like lime Jell-o about something you know nothing about. Knee-jerk conservatives. I believe your star is being eclipsed.
I'm looking forward to the total demise of the Republican party as it is currently constituted. You screwed the pooch, gang. You cried "Wolf!" a few too many times and the world is finally catching up to your BS. Start getting used to it, cause your distorted view of reality is bumping up against that notoriously liberal concept . . . truth.
Happy days are, indeed, here again.
Hasta la Victoria Siempre, Venceremos. |
|
Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda. What a bunch of whiny babies. What happened over a decade ago, in case you haven't noticed, happened. You aren't going to change it. So what if Clinton won by a plurality? He still won, didn't he. Frankly, I think he was - and still is - pretty much a jerk. However, he was a damn sight better than all the other jerks vying for our votes.
Unfortunately, we're usually required to vote for the "guy" (I do look forward to the time when we can vote for a woman who will do well in the office) who will do the least amount of damage. Obviously, we didn't do this with little Georgie Porgie - the silver-spoon-fed scion who screwed up everything he's ever touched.
He's probably a hero to most of you folks. To me he's just a spoiled brat who prosecuted an unnecessary, illegal, and murderous war - as well as some silly thing called the "war on terror" - while presiding over the erosion of our constitutional framework and our rights as citizens of this otherwise great country.
Also, I don't believe for one moment he actually won the election in 2000 but, as you all know, that's also spilled milk under the bridge. Mixed metaphor present and accounted for, Sir!
Freaking jerks! |
|
Man, I get so tired of having to point out to liberals like you that the war in Irag was voted on by Congress and approved by Congress, thus it was not an illegal war. In addition, the invasion of Iraq was to bring Iraq in compliance with all the U.N resolutions which had been passed (and promptly ignored by Saddam).
By the way, Ricky, since you are a Marxist, how many Communist countries have created a workers paradise? That always seems to be their avowed mission. Capitalism and democracy have a proven track record of giving people human rights and treating people with dignity. Communism has a proven track record of just the opposite. So explain how it is that you can support Obama (who does have a soft spot for Marxism, in his own words)when Marxism and Communism have such an abysmal track record of failure. |
|
|
Stearman -- On the other hand, tell us how many nominally socialist countries in Europe are abject failures. I think they're all doing pretty well, and in some cases very well indeed. |
|
Oh yeah, Europe is doing a fantastic job of defeating Muslim fanatics and liberating Arab people that lived under a ruthless dictator. Heck, they could not even deal with a problem in their own back yard with the Serbs.
At the time, a European political commentator remarked on how the U.S. military had to come in and clean up the mess for Europe. In the article, he wrote the words, "Europe, Thy name is Impotence." I could not have said it better myself.
If you ignore the high unemployment figures that Europe had and the economic stagnation and their dependence on the U.S. military to bail them out of any problems, then yeah, I guess you could call that a "success". With the EU looking toward another impotent organization (the U.N.) to solve world problems, I think that shows a pretty good picture of Europe's abilities. That reminds me, I need to go out to Right Wing Stuff and buy a T-shirt they have for sale. The slogan on the shirt is "America - saving Europe's as* since 1917". |
|
His lawsuit will go forward and he will show the world that Obama has refused to submit the original document of his birth because it shows he was born in Kenya, and NOT Hawaii as he claims.
His own aunt said he was born in Kenya and when he was 4 days old his mother took him to Hawaii where she obtained a phony birth certificate.
His stepfather later took him to Indonesia where he procured a birth certicate for him there so he could attend school and he has never re-registered for a "Naturalized Citizenship" status since returning to the States. So.....he is NOT a legal US Citizen, and will have to step down from his position as a US Senator and leave the Presidential race as well.
The fake one that shows he was born in Hawaii will be proven as just that!
I think that's the reason he's going to Hawaii tomorrow - to make arrangements for that govt. to help him procur a phony document for the court because he and the nefarious DNC won't be able to dodge a court order to turn it over. |
|
* The day Barack Obama is elected Commander and Chief and brings with him a Marxist Homosexual agenda to The Highest Federal office, the Balkanization of culture and ideology will be swift and not without merit, and the outcome will inevitably foment talk of States Session.
I hope Obama looks good in a Stove Pipe Hat?

..is right out of Mein Kampf. He really is Hitler reborn! |
|
We have a man of great character who served and bled for this nation, totally qualified on day one, endorsed by a couple of hundred flag officers and 4 sec of state in a time of great peril to the nation.
On the other hand we have a guy whose background is very questionable, whose associates vehemently hate the country and it's white citizens and some who have bombed it, a man who wants to take your money and give it to those who won't work. A guy with 143 days experience as a go-along senator who votes "present" because he won't take a stand until he determines which way the wind is blowing and if it blows towards the muslims he'll stand with them [from his own book]. Not too pro-American here folks.
How half this country will vote for the latter has to be the biggest joke of the new century.
His own running mate predicts another attack because the guy is clueless and weak and you fools want to vote for him...WHY? Why would you risk that? You blame Bush and repubs for the economy, yet it was the dems who screwed it up and gave us the mortgage mess and high gas prices, so you'll elect more dems...You're crazy, what happened to the stock market after 9/11? Down HOW many points?
You want change? Drain the GD swamp, vote those lying taxing dems the hell out in Nov and Mccain will give us the change he has been working on for 26 years. If you vote obama, kiss this republic good bye..if you screw this up, it's gone and you'll never get it back short of an armed revolution and very few have the stones our fore-fathers had, the ones who gave it to us, remember?
|
|
Seawolf -- You have to remember that the Republicans brought themselves to this point. If they hadn't governed like they had their head up their butt for the last 8 years, we wouldn't be in the mess we're in today, and there wouldn't be any talk about a Democratic president.
You get what you pay for.
Meantime, Retired Geek writes, "There is an old Spanish saying: 'Tell me who you walk with, and I will tell you WHO YOU ARE!'"
Dear Retired, I'll bet John McCain would like to shed most of his Right-Wing loony crowd at this point the same way Barack Obama would like to shed his socialist-communist supporters. You just can't do it. And if you stop and think about it, you really don't want to, because then you wouldn't win and get the maximum number of votes.
And John McCain, who once said, "I'd rather be right than win" has certainly turned that statement on its head during the last year, hasn't he? When you play to your base, you gotta act a little loony yourself. |
|
I don't know what planet you're from my friend, but until pelosi and reid got in the economy was chugging along pretty good. It was the dems remember who pushed all this mortgage mess on us by their pandering to people who had no business buying a home that they couldn't afford, it was the dems who got in when gas was $1.89 and their refusal to drill, to build nuke plants and anything else to ease the crunch pushed gas to well over 4 bucks...then they went on vacation while we all sat at home. Remember?
That "let them eat cake" attitude needs to rewarded at the polls.
And BTW, if you're going to quote Mccain, get it right..he said 'I'd rather lose an election than lose a war".
Mccain has character that obama could only wish for, character forged by adversity none of us could endure...that's what I want in a president, honor and experience and guts, not some pansy who will get a lot of good Americans killed while he gets up to speed, if he is even capable of it.
Obama isn't qualified to carry Mccain's seabag and his own VP candidate admits it. |

Dear Diamond, please take off your caps lock and calm down. We can hear you just fine. How about working on some real sentences with maybe some real logic in them? |

"Dear Diamond, please take off your caps lock and calm down."
That's the way it sounds inside his head. Volume, syntax, and logic. That !!!!!!! is indistinguishable from automatic weapons fire behind the forehead.
I do like his idea that Michelle's clothing is coming from Iran. Marvelous paranoia. |

Regarding the clip of people on the street in Harlem saying they'll vote for Barack because of policies that are actually McCain's.
Well, what do you know! There are actually stupid people on the Left as well as on the Right! Bet you could easily do the reverse in a white working-class neighborhood in Akron.
So that wonderful clip, to me, proves absolutely nothing, and there's nothing new about it. |
|
In fact look at the 57 posts preceding these, and you'll find a lot of nonsense spouted by a lot of people who are being allowed to vote.
The success of any democracy is dependent upon the intelligence of the electorate. We're in deep trouble. |
|
we have a large portion of our society totally unable to distinguish between a man prepared and deserving of the office of President of the United States - and a man totally unvetted, inexperienced, with far left radical associations that would disqualify him for a position on a town council anywhere in the USA. The very top of the Democrat pyramid is comprised of liberal politicians wanting to expand their voter base at all costs, the Media - striving to cement their relevance in politics, celebrities and wealthy trust fund liberals wanting to hob nob with the political and media "in-crowd". The Democrats from their position at the top tier of the pyramid - ignore any sensible policy decision in lieu of attracting and maintaining the broad base that makes up the bottom of the pyramid - people/voters hoping to have government provide entitlements from their cradle to grave. Obama is attempting to buy all those votes. "We the People" make up the middle portion of the pyramid - and Barack Obama has been preaching class distinction for nearly two years - aiming at the hard working business owners, professionals and tradespeople that make up the targeted portion of the pyramid. Many of us can not fight the tide known as Obama, Messiah, "The One" - our states are not in contention - but those of us living in Ohio, Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Missouri, North Carolina, Indiana, even New Hampshire can talk up the differences in the two Presidential candidates - the necessity to vote for the only qualified candidate - John McCain. |

WE ALREADY KNEW:
"Group tied to al-Qaida backs McCain for prez"
By Jerome R. Corsi © 2008 WorldNetDaily

-----------------------------------------------
NOW:
Al-Qaida to Support McCain with VIOLENCE !
A message, posted Monday on the password-protected al-Hesbah Web site, said if al-Qaida wants to EXHAUST THE U.S. MILITARILY AND ECONOMICALLY, "IMPETUOUS " REPUBLICAN MCCAIN IS THEIR BEST CHOICE. "McCain, pledged to continue the war till the LAST AMERICAN SOLDIER.Then, al-Qaida will have to support McCain in the coming elections so that HE CONTINUES THE FAILING MARCH OF HIS PREDECESSOR, BUSH."
"IF AL-QAIDA CARRIES OUT A BIG OPERATION AGAINST AMERICAN INTERESTS," the message said, "THIS ACT WILL BE SUPPORT FOR MCCAIN because it will push the Americans deliberately to vote for McCain so that he takes revenge for them against al-Qaida. In case you can't spell I will help you out. Why don't you take your yakking junk talk and go look up Marxism, Socialism, and compare it with your Obama Spread the Wealth, take from the rich and give to the lazy so everyone can be equal? This may be his way of making a statement about his equality for minorities?
It is socialism any way you look at it!
All men are created equal and we don't need Obama taking money that isn't his and giving it to people where the Americans don't have a Vote! He wouldn't really look good in Tights would he? Like Robin Hood? |

LLR -- So you're completely happy with the present system where CEOs make oodles more than their underlings, even though they don't own the company? And they make it whether or not the company has actually performed well? And you're happy personally with the amount of money you make vs the amount of money your boss makes? And you make lots of money yourself? If yes to all these questions, then sure, you are a Republican and have a corresponding stake in the outcome of this election. Too bad there are more poor people than rich people and they've figured out how to vote for their own personal interests. |

DeLay is dissolving in nuorsis of hysteria while pandering to the impressionable minds' of today's conservatives -- and they are eating it up like a hungry wolf with a red meat thrown at it.
For crying out loud, this guy was an important part of the American government and now you really get to see these people's inner thought processing: Commies are crossing over seas to rape and pillage our way of life. Instead of us sit down and collectively assess and vet each other's ideas, people like DeLay promotes the notion of "Grab a gun, shoot whoever has a slight difference of opinion." Very mature. Now wonder you got a mugshot Mr. DeLay.
You are a disgrace. This country doesn't need rogue elements like you. |

For some time now, the media has been trying to besmirch Gov Palin's reputation and downgrade her effectiveness in rejuvenating an otherwise moribund McCain candidacy. The charge of rabid and offensive crowds fell flat as well.
McCain chose her in order to exploit her strong conservative credentials and popularity with the republican base as opposed to his less than popular moderate bipartisanship. There have been differences which she has chosen not to emphasize preferring instead to highlight those strengths and views of the candidate with which she can agree.
I don't blame Sarah for having her difference - McCain is not an easy man to trust or agree with on all things. She should not have to act as McCain's parrot.
From the very beginning, McCain's campaign staff was determined to script her performance and not let Sarah be herself. These are the same brainiacs who've been producing these assembly line limp wristed jerks who are continually compromising and dragging the GOP down.
Now it seems the staff wants to position itself to blame Sarah for a McCain defeat. That's why she's become less inclined to listen to them. From nowhere else could the story of the $150K in clothes come from other than a treacherous staff that wants to see her politically damaged and conservatism marginalized.
It isn't going to happen and if McCain goes down, no one's to blame but McCain - and his staff. At every turn, he's refused to name dhimmi names or expose the chosen one. He still wants to maintain his insider role as he did with the bailout.
Whatever happens, Gov Palin's going to emerge from this campaign unblemished, uncompromised and much more familiar to and popular with the conservative republican base than she was beforehand, and potentially a future president.
And the staff? They can only hope they bet on the right horse because their advice stinks. |

Tom doesn't seem to enjoy too much GOP troop support - I wonder why?
Perhaps it's because with every priority the republican base worked for was discarded for spending, spending and more spending while DeLay was majority leader.
When I think of DeLay, I think of pig politics. Take home enough bacon and you can't help being reelected.
Now we are on the verge of a socialist takeover by an Islamic radical and here he is ranting to the troops about that 'Marxist Communist'.
Now I pose the question: What were you promoting while in congress, Tom? Capitalism? Where were your republican principles then? They weren't necessary then? Well isn't it a little late to yelling them out on the street corner now? |

Delay calling Obama a marxist, communist, or socialist is laughable--Delay is a criminal, forced to resign from the most powerful position in Washington, in desgrace for his criminal actions. The good thing is that it looks like all his other Republican crooks will be forced out as well. On Hardball today, he was like Jack Nickloson in "A Few Good Men"--screaming "You can't handle the truth!" Luckily for him, Chris Mathews didn't allow him to call Obama and other senators/representatives "anti-American" like the nutcase from Minnesota. |
