In case you had any doubt exactly how liberal the Democrat leadership really is…here is more video footage to prove it.  I know it’s not surprising that the Speaker of the House is quite the liberal, but it is shocking that she would make such politically outrageous statements that can (and should) be used against many of her conservative Democrats who, after all, need to win re-election, too.

And I’d be interested to hear what Catholics think about Pelosi’s claims that she’s devout, while very publicly advocating for both contraception and abortion.

Elsewhere (NRO) it's written that McCain really needs to hammer home a picture of an Obama presidency, a Democratic Senate, and a Democratic House. Imagine the energy policy, the Supreme Court appointments, the foreign aid leaving the country, the civil security force, the taxation, and on.

Nationally, we're stuck with Congress, but Obama can be stopped in November.

Do you honestly think that Nancy Pelosi with her worn out womb, would care about anything but herself in this world? She doesn't have any idea about what is right from wrong, or if she did she wouldn't be the Speaker. She is so politically incorrect that if she was to ever speak the truth, she would be arrested for passing gas or letting gasious agents out on the free world. Let's face it, I wouldn't be surprised by anything she says, does, or would do to gain power for herself in the political rhelm. She came from a Baltimore background of political structure and upbringing, so like Obama they have something in common: Biased, corrupt, and a wacko mentality for dealing with real issues !!!!!!!

This woman is dangerous! I cannot understand anyone who would call waiting for marriage to have sex, dangerous, right wing, outdated etc. etc. ad nauseum. I am only glad that Polosi is getting older and her time is limited in office. She and Boxer and Feinstein are all hatched from the same 60's immorality cult. She wants to sexualize all children to make them available to perverts without legal limits. I would only hope that Californians would have had enough of this trio for death. 50,000,000 corpses is enough! Abortion is being used as a means of contraceptive and gives sexual immorality a green light to our youth. If we track the consequences of premarital sex, it reads like a disaster movie. The welfare roles are loaded with girls who thought that their big man would stand by them. I have seen so many girls 'dropped off' at abortion mills to go alone to kill her baby. I have seen them stagger out the back door with noone to pick them up.

Culture
We are already in a hypersexual popular culture, so we need to deal with it like rational adults. It's naive to think middle schoolers and high schoolers do not know about sexual activities or engage in them. While a good percentage of people don't engage in such acts, the other 50% are going to continue despite all the abstinence talk in the world.

Ultimately, they are our kids. It shouldn't matter what the schools are teaching.

Sex ed shouldn't be taught in schools to begin with! It's a moral issue, not a sex issue.

And they wonder why more and more and more parents are pulling their children OUT OF PUBLIC school, and either homeschooling or putting the children into private or parochial school.

It's been proven that abstinence only education is a doomed failure (as anyone with an ounce of common sense or responsibility could've told you!)

Sex ed and access to birth control, in addition to promoting abstinence, is the only realistic approach.

You foolish nitwits can keep believing teenagers won't have sex if you tell them not to.

Meantime it's the daughters of such clueless parents as you who are typically the sluttiest.

Sex is a biological function. Granted there are moral issues involved, but it is nonetheless a biological aspect common to all humans. As such, our children need to be educated on the subject.

You're claiming a mix of sex education, contraception, and abstinence education. San Fran Nan P-Lousy is trying to completely, and on a national scale, eliminate abstinence education.

It's moral relativism and the state's desire to make us all victims, which is one step removed from being slaves, that has led us to this point. If sex education is so good and pushing contraception is such a great idea, then explain why nearly 50 million unborn children have been slaughtered in the last 35 years? Could it be that the same state that you think is so crucial in sex education has so diminished the value of human life that unborn children have become throw away items just like an old washing machine?

As a devout and Orthodox Catholic, I find P-Lousy's moral misconduct reprehensible and she continually demonstrates herself to be an absolutely phony Christian in general and Catholic in particular. Embracing and espousing the beliefs that she does demonstrates that she has absolutely no concern about the value of human life, and no compunction about lying. She demonstrates daily that she's not in any way, shape or form repentent about it either.

HOW CAN ANYONE FEARING GOD BE A LIBERAL?
The democratic montra promotes and protects decadence. The left migrating government is increasingly moving us toward the socialist ideas of relieving people of responsibility at every level. Whether you agree with religion or not, morality limits such as the 10 commandments, if adhered to, can relieve us of the effects of sin, such as heartache, etc, and will instill a strong character. If the responsibilities of pre-marital sex are taught, it doesn't necessarily mean people will remain virgins until matrimony, but it will help some to remain chaste.

Increases in chastity will decrease infanticide, unwed mothers requiring welfare, the spread of STDs and AIDS, and may increase the average level of education young people can achieve.

But alas, Pelosi, etc. earn their low approval rating for refusing to do even basic legislation to help americans while damaging our country by promoting this type of garbage. California's moral rating is in the crapper and they say, as CA goes, so goes the country, so she's trying to spread this type of insanity. I'm sure there are great people in California, but I scratch my head about who they send to congress.

Certainly our children need to be educated regarding sex. And the first thing is to tell them that IF they choose to have sex, they need to be prepared to reap the repercussions of unwanted pregnancy and STD's. It's the old adage, if you are not ready to be a parent, you better not be having sex. Regardless of whether or not someone believes that sex outside of marriage is right or wrong, there is no dispute that abstinance is THE only way to NOT get pregnant or contract STD. Is it reasonable to expect that children will choose NOT to have sex until they get married? Probably not, given that nowadays, the entire world is bombarded with sex sex sex. But should children be told that abstinence is the BEST option? Totally. The problem with a lot of the sex education curriculum regarding contraceptives is the total failure to address the fact that contraceptives are not 100% fool proof, and that it is perfectly okay to say no to sex. Most of the contraceptive related education tells children "go ahead and have sex, everything will be okay as long as you are protected." That's a lie. Because that's not always okay. Other than that, when people (whether adult or children) choose to have sex, it's a choice. As a taxpayer, I do not want my money to be used to pay for contraceptives. Handing out contraceptives for free is the real danger, not abstinance, as it encourages children to have sex without thinking twice about the repercussions.

So you have a problem with concerned parents teaching their kids to be abstinent (or at least expecting that the schools do so) rather than entrusting such profound teaching to the school libertines, do you? Are you willing to risk YOUR daughter's health and emotional well-being just so she can say she's a woman in her own right? Do you even realize that such a perspective is precisely what you don't want for her-that her worth as a woman will be measured by her willingness to submit to or make advances? There is a reason why words such as sl!t still exist, and why some girls' numbers are still written on the restroom walls. Not to mention the STD factor; some of those stay with you for life, you know-and all it takes is one encounter to acquire any of them. And FYI, even fleas "do it". The difference is, we humans have a moral capacity that fleas do not. That moral capacity must be guided and trained to look out for the other guy, not just ourselves. Or have you convinced yourself that sex is only about biology and there isn't a thing about it that goes any deeper than the sex organs?

Of course I'd be disappointed if our own children didn't adhere to our teaching. Is that an excuse to give them the oppportunity to do so?

is dangerous - I think I heard Madam Pelosi say that. Well - there are a lot of 60, 70, 80, and 90 year old people that are still alive that can disagree with that. They proved one can grow to an old age having practiced abstinence in their youth - when it was accepted as a good thing now it is dangerous. Where is the danger??

Moral philosophers and legal experts have stated that even the sex act itself is problematic from a human rights point of view. The deep moral and philosophical issues at hand dealing with human sexuality are beyond most parents intellect, and should be regulated within a small core of intellectual elites. Gender issues, pregnancy issues, and pulbic sanitation demand that parents relinquish any illusions of outdated mythological theology concerning the sexual indoctrination of children.

The best way to deal with this complicated issue is to elect the one Man who has shown not only a sensitivty to children and parents alike, but also to the needs and demands of the Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Beastiality Community. That man is Barack Obama. A vote for Barack will also relieve parents of said obligations and will allow them the time to explore thier own deep sexual needs. Children are too important a resource to be left to thier whims of an outdated institution called The Family.

out of wedlock before the sexual revolution of the 1960s. This was also before comprehensive sex education was taught in the public schools. The evidence is there for anyone to see. Comprehensive sex education is a total failure.

Something my sister said...
Once she heard some commenter say that we can expect our kids to drink underage. She thought about that, and then at the dinner table told her kids, straight out, that she did not expect them to. She also spoke on the topic of premarital sex the same way. Her premise?... to give her kids an expectation to live up to, not down to. In our culture it is odd that we are told to not have anything but low expectations for our kids, and then complain about the conditions arising from these low expectations. YES, kids fail and make mistakes. And then you love them. YES, there will be this and that and the other that they do that is not right. And then you love them. Yes, if you tell your kids you have no expectations of them they are more likely to support your low opinion of them.

Abstinence Only
The very term is dishonest. The truth is, many on the left do not want abstinence taught at all. That is why they fight tooth and nail to keep it from sex education classes. Then they lie and claim that most advocates of abstinence are pushing "abstinence ONLY" something that is patenely false.

Examine all of the cases where attempts have been made to toss out all other sex education and replace it with abstinence only classes. If you can find more than a handful of examples nation wide I would be astounded.

Nancy Pelosi Removal
Actually there is a way to remove her as well as reid. The US Constitution has procedures for it and we are not stuck with any of them. This has been done before, and recently.

These two are in a position of power, they are the cause of the Do Nothing Congress and we didn't have a choice in there selection.

Basically,

1. The US Constitution states Supreme power is held by the citizens that are entitled to vote and is exercised by elected officers.

2. The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments. When sitting for that Purpose, they shall be on Oath or Affirmation. When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside: And no Person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two thirds of the Members present.

The Senate can remove both of them after a vote, of which two thirds of the members present are in agreement.

I'm sure they have made lots of friends !!

Write your congress, tell them their jobs are on the line, Demand that a vote be made on the removal of these two. The Country would be a better place.

I think Pelosi's comments are off the mark here. Teaching abstinence, in and of itself, isn't dangerous. But teaching abstinence ONLY, and totally ignoring the other aspects of sex education is pretty unrealistic in this day and age. The point of it all is to keep kids happy, healthy, and unimpregnated. Ideally, the solution is abstinence; but that's just not a realistic expectation to have.

I agree with an earlier poster who said that this shouldn't be in the schools- it should be the parents who teach their kids about sex. But sadly, it isn't happening. What the schools teach is better than nothing, and I give the school system their props for trying, but it is the parents that need to step up to the plate and get over the embarrasment of the topic of sex.

What kids need to be taught in the schools is responsibility, self-respect, self-control and self-esteem. If you teach a child that we expect nothing of them but to be worthless reprobates, thats exactly what they'll become, because kids want to live up to their parents expectations: if you expect more of them, they are quite able to BE more.

The left wants to destroy the family - they want to rip up the very moral fabric of society which is that family. A child who grows up in a loving home with a father and a mother has a better chance of being a productive, happy and successful human being - THAT IS WHAT WE OWE TO OUR KIDS. I don't want my child to spend the next few years taking aids medicines and sitting with iv's in his arm, and then dying before the age of thirty - of aids - one of the most horrible ways to die imaginable. Kids need to learn that whatever they decide to do, they are responsible for their decision, and there are consequences to everyone's actions - including them.
This poster should be airlifted then dropped off in Syria where he belongs.

YES! I agree. I'm glad someone finally said it.

It is way past time for Americans to speak up about the atrocities taking place in every aspect of our government today by power-abusing politicians, largely due to our silence and apathy.

We've become too comfortable and don't want to rock the boat, but if we don't do something soon, that boat is going to sink - with us in it.

Let's all get off our butts and exercise our rights and demand Pelosi and Reid be removed for the good of 'OUR' country. Let's take it back!

I really like what your sister is doing with her children. I'm pretty sure I recall my parents being the same way. They taught my brothers and I to be leaders, not followers and that we had to make the decisions that were right for us, not right for our friends and the rest of the world and that is how I am raising my son.

My son's father unforunately has the idea like you said of "He's probably going to do it anyway." And I told him flat out that it is not acceptable to think that way because I will do my best to raise our son to be better than that and to use his own brain. I will not set an expectation for him to break the rules and if he does there will be consequences.

I don't believe in parenting under the umbrella of "kids will be kids."
