Do the Math: McGovern > than Obama
McGovern - ((War Hero Record) + (experience)) =
Obama

Glad to be of assistance on this. If you loved the Carter Administration, you will love Barack Obama!

The sad part is a lot of dems wish Jimmy Carter was running again.

Who's paying?
Did Tom DeLay really just ask the question "Who's paying?" Tom DeLay? The single most corrupt politician in the history of our fair Republic is now wondering about fuzzy funding and iffy contributions?

Gee, Mr. Scandal, maybe your buddy Mr. Abramoff is available to make a donation?

Am I Missing Something?
Gosh, you mean special interests are having parties at or near the convention site??

I'll bet the Republicans never do anything remotely like that...

A-hem!

And the GOP Convention?
Looking forward to your post giving us the schedule of events at the Republican convention.

ABC News Is On It
Actually, there was a report early in the ABC News coverage of the convention, something about "Following the Money," which also noted that Barack Obama had wanted to keep this kind of activity to a minimum, as a part of his changing the way the American government will do business, but the lengthy fight he had to wage against Hillary kept him from giving this the kind of attention it obviously needed. Of course, by 2012, when he's up for re-election, he'll be so tied to the monied interests that bought him 2008 he'll be either unable or unwilling to do a thing about it. Too bad. Really needs fixing.

Let's see if McCain can do any better.
